Preparing for AIMS

Parents-
As I am sure your students have informed you, we are having AIMS testing next week.  I am confident that they are prepared to do well but need your help to make sure they do their best.  Here are some tips to make sure your student is ready to do their best:
  1. Eat a healthy breakfast (try to stay away from sugary items~they are not brain food and cause kids to crash)
  2. Go to bed early the night before (Monday and Tuesday)
  3. RELAX….everything will be fine. They have learned the material!
  4. Do something fun Monday and Tuesday night to relax them
Thank you for your help!

Reminder: Unit Project due on Friday 4/27

Just a reminder that our Unit Projects are due on Friday 4/27.  I know you have been working hard on them and am excited to see what you have created!  Please let me know if you need any help wrapping everything up.

Tsunamis in the news

We have talked a lot in class about the 2004 Tsunami that struck Indonesia.  Read here about how last week's Earthquake is effecting the same area.

The newest edition to our class

On March 17th at 9:56 a.m., Brooklyn Grace was welcomed into our family.  She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 19.5 inches long.  We are so happy she is finally here!  I can't wait to bring her in to class to meet all of you.
